DevSecOps Engineer, Fully Remote Permanently (Manchester City Centre Offices), £70,000 - £90,000

We are currently helping a business who are at the start of their Cyber Security journey. The truly understand that DevSecOps is a way of working and not just a fancy job title. They are looking to bring in the first DevSecOps Engineer to create and build a true DevSecOps environment, whilst introducing and maturing their Application and Cloud Security tools and processes from ground zero.

The DevSecOps Engineer will have full ownership and autonomy to own this way of working and ethos, working in partnership with all the IT functions (Dev-Ops, Software Development, Infrastructure, Architecture etc) and the wider business, to ensure all applications and platforms are secure.

As the first DevSecOps Engineer, you will have ideally been in a greenfield environment, with a proven track record of creating and embedding a DevSecOps environment. You will have;

• Excellent understanding of web applications, web servers, application technologies, frameworks and protocols with respect to application development and deployment
• Hands-on experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, utilising tools such as: Nessus, Paros, Metasploit, Nmap, OWASP Zap, AppScan, BurpSuite, Echo Mirage, Fortify & Wireshark
• Experience with Cloud Security (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud)
