IT Support Engineer / Tonbridge – Hybrid / £30,000 - £33,000

My client is looking add an extra IT Support Engineer to their term on a permanent basis.

We are looking for a 1st / 2nd Line Onsite Engineer to join our team, based at one of our high-profile clients in Tonbridge, who is highly competent and knowledgeable about the IT systems and services that we sell and maintain.

You will be able to troubleshoot a variety of issues, either by applying knowledge you have gained or researching fixes. Does this sound like you?

Roles and responsibilities
  • To take ownership of allocated IT incidents and progress them to a satisfactory conclusion, keeping customers regularly informed of progress.
  • Use of IT Service desk to manage tickets to completion.
  • Provision of hardware to employees and any other equipment necessary for the functioning of their systems.
  • You will provide regularly updates to users on the progress of service tickets.

Required Skills
  • Minimum of 2 years in a similar IT 2nd Line Role.
  • Active Directory, Exchange, Microsoft 365
  • Office 365, including SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
  • Minimum of 2 years in a similar IT 2nd Line Role.
  • DNS / DHCP
  • IT literate with good understanding of Microsoft Office
