Software Engineering Team Lead – Warrington/Hybrid - £80k + 15% Bonus - .NET, Azure

This is an opportunity for a Software Engineering Team Lead to join a newly shaped team to make an impact and drive forward the future of software engineering.

You will join an established FinTech who have recently gone cloud first and you’ll be overseeing multiple high-level projects from inception through to delivery; in an environment where you’ll be able to liberate and create!

The key element to this role is strong people and performance management skills, having the ability to know when a developer is performing and when they need support. There may be the odd time when you need to be hands-on with the tools, so you’ll need a background in .NET.

The Software Engineering Team Lead will be responsible for setting coding standards, learn/investigate new technology, understand the code and applications and be able to delve into the code it if the developers are struggling.

Other key requirements include:

• You will be leading a team of up to 10 developers from junior to principal and will need to have had leadership experience of leading at least 5 people.
• Former Software Engineering experience and knowledge of .NET, SQL, and Azure.
• Good understanding of coding standards and best practices.
• Working with project and product manages to assess progress and ensure deadlines are achieved.
• Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
