Job role: IT / OT Manager
Location: Coventry – flexible home working
Salary: £70,000 + benefits

We are seeking an experienced IT/OT Manager to oversee the availability, reliability, and security of core non-production environments. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for managing IT/OT devices and systems, ensuring smooth operations, and supporting both project and business-as-usual (BAU) requirements.

As a key leader, you will drive efficiency and compliance within agreed budgets, delivering positive ROI and fostering a proactive, resilient team culture. This is a critical role where you will have the opportunity to shape environment management strategy and influence cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.

What You’ll Do as IT/ OT Manager:
  • Manage the availability, maintenance, and security of core non-production environments.
  • Oversee incidents, changes, problems, and requests to ensure system stability and efficient delivery.
  • Develop and maintain IT/OT policies, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
  • Manage SCADA and OT environments, including configuration, access control, and maintenance.
  • Lead the delivery of upgrades and new environments to meet project demands.
  • Track software versions and ensure alignment with technical standards.
  • Manage vendor performance and outsourced service providers to meet service levels.
  • Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements.

What we are looking for:
  • Strong background in IT environment management and technical delivery.
  • Experience leading teams with diverse technical skills.
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, SCADA systems, and operational technologies.
  • Experience with AWS or cloud-based solutions.
  • Knowledge of engineering processes in operational environments.
  • Familiarity with Prince2, Agile, Jira, and Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
