Role: Network Engineer

Location: Coventry / Hybrid

Salary: £50,000

 

Maxwell Bond are working with a leading technology solutions business in Coventry who are searching for a skilled Network Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

 

Role Overview:

 

**Provide escalated support for internal customers within the Infrastructure Engineering team.

**Maintain stability, implement improvements, and manage changes to internal and production networks.

**Serve as a Subject Matter Expert to uphold SLA targets for systems and customers.

**Give precedence to a security-first approach, resolving vulnerabilities within agreed SLAs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

**Deploy and modify network configurations in alignment with business needs.

**Assist in addressing escalated problems and identify opportunities for service enhancement.

**Provide support for colleagues related to applications and platforms.

**Enhance existing systems and capacity monitoring processes.

**Adhere to internal IT processes (change/incident/problem) and ensure thorough documentation.

What you can bring to the team:

 

**Proficient in Cisco Networking (CCNA or equivalent), SDWAN (Juniper SRX), and DHCP/DNS/TCP/IP.

**Experience in network administration, troubleshooting, and change control environments.

**ITSM experience (e.g., Server Desk Plus, ServiceNow).

**Excellent communication and prioritisation skills.
