I’m working with one of the UK’s largest legal groups who have a huge focus on data driven decision making across the organisation, and have invested heavily in the way AI and Machine Learning can affect the business as a whole.
You will join a small team set up to operate as a startup for the wider group. The team is responsible innovating new Software, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence initiatives. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will take some of these and lead others through the end-to-end development. The team has huge backing from the business you will play in key role in the growth of the function.
This role will definitely suit someone who has already worked within a startup environment.
As their Senior Software Engineer, you will have experience in all or some of the following:
- Python
- Flask/Django or similar frameworks
- RESTful API
- Azure / AWS / GCP
- Hands-on experience with SQL database design
- Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
- Knowledge of ETL tools
- Great numerical and analytical skills
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar field; a Master’s is a plus
- Previous experience with Azure is a plus
- Knowledge of Machine Learning is a plus
- Data engineering certification is a plus
- Remote with the occasional travel to Manchester
- Up to £80000 salary
