Job Summary:
The 66kV HV SAP ensures safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and management of HV systems up to 66kV. Responsibilities include HV operations, switching, isolations, and maintenance activities in line with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- HV Operations: Perform switching, isolations, and power restorations up to 66kV.
- Safety Management: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct risk assessments.
- Maintenance: Oversee maintenance, testing, and inspection of HV equipment.
- Fault Management: Diagnose and resolve HV network faults.
- Documentation: Maintain records of HV operations and incidents; prepare reports.
- Training: Train and guide junior engineers and technicians.
- Project Support: Assist in HV projects, installations, and upgrades.
- Compliance: Adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Emergency Response: Act as a first responder for HV emergencies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Certification: SAP certification for HV operations up to 66kV.
- Experience: 5+ years in HV engineering; 3+ years as a SAP.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in HV switching and isolation; strong HV equipment knowledge.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiar with industry standards and regulations.
- Safety Focused: Experience in risk assessments and safety protocols.
