Maxwell Bond have partnered with a growing tech business whose products are used globally, and with major investment going into their product development, are on the lookout for an Engineering Manager to lead two talented engineering teams.
This is a people-first role, not hands-on technical delivery.
What You’ll Do as Engineering Manager:
- Manage two engineering teams, driving performance and supporting with growth and well-being of engineers.
- Lead strategic initiatives across the department, including performance management, career progression and learning and development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in Delivery, Product and Technical Leadership, ensuring continuous improvement in behaviours and performance.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience managing software teams, with a coaching/growth mindset.
- Skilled in performance management, hiring, and modern engineering practices (Agile, TDD, CI/CD)
- Strong communication skills, understanding technical context and build trust with teams.
