I’ve been working with this client for a number of years, and they have recently opened up a new Tech Hub in Coimbra where they have grown from 0-130 tech and engineering staff in a short period of time, and looking to surpass 200 by the end of the year.
About the Role:
As their IBM Developer you will be working closely with the wider product, engineering and delivery teams supporting multiple major infrastructure projects handling high-volume online transactions, integrating legacy systems, and supporting AI-driven initiatives.
Key Responsibilities as their IBM Developer:
- Solve complex IBM platform engineering challenges across diverse projects
- Contribute to technical design, programming, and unit testing
- Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams on key initiatives.
- Maintain deep technical expertise in IBM Power Systems (iSeries/AS400), CA/2E (Synon 2, and occasionally RPG/ILE
