Level 1 Support Engineer

We have teamed up with an IT Services and Solutions provider based in Manchester who are seeking a motivated Level 1 Support Engineer to join their active Service Desk team!

 

You’ll work closely with your line manager to ensure all support tickets are logged accurately in their Professional Services Automation (PSA) platform, prioritised effectively, and resolved wherever possible. For more complex challenges, you’ll escalate to the Level 2 and Level 3 engineers, staying involved to help deliver a seamless, professional experience for their clients.

 

What you'll be doing:

  • Act as the first point of contact for incoming support requests and collaborate with other members of the team.
  • Log and manage tickets in our PSA system accurately from day one.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues affecting end-user devices and software.
  • Provide outstanding customer service with clear, professional communication.

 

What we are looking for:

  • Ideally 1–2 years’ experience in a Service Desk or IT support role.
  • Microsoft or other IT support-related qualifications are an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach.
  • Well-organised, detail-oriented, and eager to develop your skills.
