New Business Development Manager

Overview:
An established and rapidly growing connectivity solutions provider is seeking a driven and experienced New Business Development Manager to help accelerate company growth. This role is focused on acquiring new logo direct customers across target markets and establishing long-term, high-value relationships.

You’ll be responsible for building and managing a sustainable pipeline of new business opportunities for cellular and satellite connectivity services, leveraging marketing campaigns, SDR-generated leads, and your own outbound prospecting.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Customer Acquisition: Identify, engage, and convert target accounts that match the company’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).

  • Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through lead follow-up, proactive outreach, and attendance at industry and networking events.

  • Account Development: Where appropriate, retain and grow new customers by creating structured account plans and developing long-term relationships.

  • Data Management: Maintain accurate, real-time data within CRM systems (e.g., ConnectWise, HubSpot) for pipeline, account, and campaign tracking.

  • Sales Performance: Achieve KPIs and revenue targets aligned with company growth objectives.

  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Technical Operations teams to align efforts and ensure customer success.

  • Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and risks.

  • Brand Representation: Act as a professional ambassador for the business at meetings, events, and online, reflecting company values and standards.


Compliance & Information Security

  • Adhere to all company policies, ISO standards, and compliance requirements.

  • Identify and mitigate potential information security risks.

  • Participate in regular security awareness training and report any incidents or vulnerabilities promptly.


Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record in new business sales within the telecommunications or IoT sector (minimum 3 years in a similar role).

  • Formal sales training and experience with structured qualification methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, BANT, SPIN).

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Strong LinkedIn presence and ability to leverage social media for business development.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems (ideally ConnectWise or HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
