Manchester (2 days a week, Northern Quarter) | High-Growth SaaS Scale-Up
We’re supporting a venture-backed SaaS business at a pivotal stage. With committed investors, with plans to move forward for Series B investment in the next 1–2 years, they’re building new products to transform how their clients communicate with their customers directly. They’ve already proven there’s a problem worth solving - but curating and leading the strategy, scaling & upskilling the team, and shaping the long-term product vision is where they need you.
What’s in it for you?
- A Blank Canvas (with backing): No rigid playbook, no outdated bureaucracy or red tape. They’re looking for someone to set the product vision, define strategy, and steer the ship.
- High-Impact Role: You’ll join the Senior Leadership Team, working closely with their CEO, CTO, Lead Architect, and a newly hired Engineering Manager.
- Scale-Up with Momentum: They’ve stripped back and built a more trusting, collaborative team. The foundations are there - now they need the leadership to grow.
- Massive Market Opportunity: Their product has the potential to become the go-to platform, solving costly problems around reliability, customer relationships, and efficiency.
What You’ll Do
- Own the Product Strategy & Vision: Take them from “drifting” to “driving” - setting the direction and building alignment across the business.
- Lead & Grow the Product Function: Manage the current Product + UX team, coach them, and scale the function.
- Collaborate at the Highest Level: Work as part of SLT to shape strategy, influence decisions, and connect product to engineering, commercial, and customer outcomes.
- Thrive in Ambiguity: They don’t want corporate. They want someone who embraces chaos, can create clarity, and has the hunger to build something game changing.
To be Successful as the product leader, all you need to have is;
- Strong product leadership experience - you’ve built strategy and delivered at scale, not just shipped features.
- A collaborative mindset - you’ll bring people with you, not dictate from above.
- Hunger, resilience, and the personality to thrive in a fast-moving, messy scale-up environment.
- Domain experience isn’t essential - the right person can learn quickly.
This isn’t just another product leadership role. It’s a chance to define the strategy, shape the culture, and lead a product with huge potential - in a business on the verge of explosive growth.
