Your next role as a Data Centre Site Manager is to lead day-to-day operations, ensure uptime excellence, and drive continuous improvement for a new build in South Manchester.
The Role
As the Data Centre Site Manager, you will oversee all aspects of site operations — from infrastructure management and vendor coordination to safety, compliance, and team leadership. You’ll be responsible for maintaining 100% operational availability while fostering a culture of reliability, accountability, and technical excellence.

About You
• Proven experience in data centre operations, facilities management, or critical infrastructure environments.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems (HVAC, UPS, generators, switchgear, BMS, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving and incident management capabilities.
• Working knowledge of ITIL, ISO 27001, or Uptime Institute standards preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, operational data, and system logs.
Qualifications
• SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, CITB Construction Site Manager Safety Certificate
• Ideally 5+ years of experience managing mission-critical or data centre facilities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CDCP, PMP, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
