Job Title: Founding Account Executive – New York
Location: New York (Union Square, 5 days in office)
Compensation: $100k–$160k base + double OTE + equity

Overview:
We’re partnered with a high-growth, VC-backed AI startup that is transforming how law firms and enterprise legal teams manage complex patent and intellectual property workflows. The business has already built strong traction in the UK and is now launching its US expansion, with New York as a key strategic market.

The Role:
This is a founding Account Executive hire in New York, offering the opportunity to play a key role in building the company’s US commercial presence from the ground up. You’ll own the full sales cycle, working closely with leadership to develop pipeline, close new business, and shape the go-to-market strategy in a high-growth environment.

You’ll be selling a genuinely complex, high-value AI product into sophisticated buyers, including law firms and enterprise legal teams, requiring a consultative and thoughtful sales approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the full 360 sales cycle from prospecting through to close
  • Build and develop pipeline across the US market
  • Engage and sell into senior legal and technical stakeholders
  • Deliver consultative, high-quality sales conversations and product demos
  • Work closely with founders and leadership to shape the US GTM strategy

Requirements:

  • Proven Account Executive experience in SaaS or technical products
  • Experience selling into law firms or legal teams is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills and a consultative approach
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, early-stage environment with high ownership

  • 5 employees currently based in NYC (no sales team yet)
  • First commercial hire in the US with significant scope to make an impact
  • No requirement to have been a founding AE previously, but strong, relevant experience is essential
