Account Manager
Location: UK London (Hybrid)
Salary: 45k base + OTE + benefits
An established UK-based learning and development professional services organisation is looking for a Client Relationship Manager to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of customer accounts, balancing both active and dormant relationships.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio where approximately 60% of accounts are active and 40% are dormant, with a key focus on re-engagement, account development, and long-term relationship building. This is a consultative role, working closely with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions and maximise commercial opportunities.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow an existing portfolio of customer accounts

Re-engage dormant accounts and identify new revenue opportunities

Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers

Conduct client meetings to understand needs and propose relevant solutions

Prepare quotes and proposals aligned to client requirements

Maintain accurate pipeline and account information via CRM systems

Collaborate with internal delivery, finance, and operational teams to ensure successful outcomes

Deliver high levels of customer service to support long-term partnerships
About You

Proven experience in B2B account management, client relationship management, or consultative sales

Comfortable managing both warm and dormant accounts

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
