Business Development Manager – E-Learning & Professional Training

Location: Hybrid (3 days in the office)
Salary: £30,000 base + £12,000 OTE (uncapped)


About the Role

We’re partnering with a leading e-learning and professional training provider that helps organisations build critical skills across technology, digital, AI and business functions.

This is a new business-focused role for a driven Business Development Manager looking to build pipeline, win new clients, and grow accounts over time. You’ll be supported by a structured Sales Academy, ongoing coaching, and clear progression pathways.

If you enjoy hunting for new opportunities but also developing relationships into long-term revenue — this role strikes the perfect balance.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Driving new business acquisition through outbound activity (calls, email, LinkedIn)
  • Identifying and engaging key decision-makers across target organisations
  • Building and managing a strong sales pipeline
  • Converting opportunities through a full 360 sales cycle
  • Growing and nurturing accounts post-sale to drive repeat business
  • Creating tailored learning and training solutions for clients
  • Using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and CRM tools to generate opportunities
  • Developing and executing territory and account plans
  • Delivering a high level of customer engagement and service

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years B2B sales experience (BDR, SDR, or Account Manager stepping into new business)
  • Proven ability or strong desire to win new business
  • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Resilient, proactive, and target-driven
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales tools
