Client Manager
Hybrid – UK Based (Travel Required)
We’re partnering with a fast-growing B2B marketing business that is scaling rapidly and looking to hire a commercially minded Client Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of retained clients across the UK.
This is a high-impact role suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys building strong client relationships, and is confident handling commercially focused conversations with senior stakeholders including Sales and Marketing Directors.

The Role
You’ll manage a portfolio of approximately 15–20 retained clients, with account values typically ranging from £5k–£15k per month. This is a highly proactive, relationship-led role where regular communication and strong client engagement are essential.
You’ll oversee the full client lifecycle from onboarding through to retention, renewal and growth, ensuring campaigns deliver measurable commercial value while managing churn and client expectations effectively.
The role is heavily KPI and performance driven, with success measured around retained revenue, client growth, portfolio performance and customer satisfaction.
You’ll also work closely with an internal POD structure made up of SDRs and technical specialists, helping coordinate activity and drive results for your accounts.
What You’ll Be Doing

Managing a portfolio of retained clients

Leading onboarding for new customers from initial handover through to launch

Building strong relationships with Sales & Marketing stakeholders

Maintaining regular, high-touch communication with clients

Reviewing campaign performance and providing commercially focused insights

Managing retained revenue, churn prevention and account growth

Leading difficult or performance-based conversations confidently

Collaborating with SDRs and technical teams within your POD

Supporting upsell and expansion opportunities across accounts

Attending in-person client meetings and quarterly reviews
What They’re Looking For

Experience in Customer Success, Account Management or Client Services within a B2B environment

Background in marketing, lead generation, agency or performance-driven services preferred

Strong commercial awareness and resilience

Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving business

Able to manage multiple conversations and priorities simultaneously

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Experience dealing with senior decision makers

Proactive, ambitious and highly organised

Open to UK travel for client meetings
