We’re hiring a Data Engineer to join a global leader in logistics and distribution, operating across 30+ countries and undergoing a major digital transformation. Sitting within a high-impact Data Services team, you’ll play a key role in building the data foundations that power critical business decisions across the organisation.

As a Data Engineer, you’ll design and build scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and SQL supporting everything from supplier performance and inventory tracking to distribution efficiency and customer demand. This is a rare opportunity to work with genuinely large, complex datasets and have a direct impact on how a global business operates.

What will make you stand out:

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and SQL
  • Proven track record building and optimising ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Experience working with Fabric Data Warehouse or similar cloud platforms
  • Solid understanding of Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers)
  • A focus on data quality, scalability, and performance
  • Good knowledge of data architecture, governance, and security best practices
  • Experience supporting reporting tools such as Power BI or Qlik
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders
