We're partnering with an established UK organisation looking for an experienced Technical Lead / Senior Software Engineer to support the ongoing development of a business-critical application.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on technical specialist to take ownership of complex development challenges, provide technical leadership within a small team and work closely with stakeholders to turn business requirements into effective technical solutions.

As the Full Stack Software Engineer, you will:

Lead the development and enhancement of backend services using Go (Golang) and TypeScript.
Build and maintain frontend applications using React and JavaScript.
Design, develop and maintain APIs and integrations.
Work with PostgreSQL databases and existing application architectures.
Support applications hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Contribute to deployment processes and infrastructure, including Google Cloud Build and Terraform.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and improve application performance and reliability.
Provide technical direction and support to other developers.
Work directly with stakeholders to clarify requirements, challenge assumptions and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
Take ownership of ongoing development and improvements beyond go-live.

We're looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer with:

Strong commercial experience with Go (Golang) - exposure to GO as a minimum.
Excellent TypeScript development skills and experience with React and JavaScript.
Experience building backend services and working with REST APIs.
Strong SQL database experience, ideally PostgreSQL.
Commercial experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
The ability to provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on.
Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with non-technical stakeholders.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work autonomously.
