Infrastructure Support Engineer
Liverpool (Hybrid)
Up to £40,000 DOE

This is a chance to join a growing business that is genuinely investing in its tech. They are building out their Azure environment and need someone who can come in, get stuck in, and help shape how things are done.

You will not just be keeping the lights on. You will be working across both support and project work, getting involved in cloud builds, migrations, and improving how the infrastructure runs day to day.

What the role looks like:
  • Acting as the go-to for 3rd line issues when things get tricky
  • Building and improving Azure environments including networking, security, and availability
  • Spinning up and managing resources like VMs, storage, SQL, and application gateways
  • Keeping everything monitored, patched, and running properly
  • Getting involved in cloud migrations from on-prem to Azure
  • Working with security best practices including RBAC, policies, and Defender

What they are looking for:
  • Around a year or more in an infrastructure or 3rd line role
  • Someone who has had hands-on exposure to Azure, not just theory
  • A solid understanding of infrastructure such as networking, servers, and security
  • Comfortable working across hybrid environments
  • Someone proactive who wants to learn and get involved

Why it is worth a look:
  • Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience
  • Hybrid working
  • Supportive team, you will not be left on your own
  • Benefits including wellbeing support and pension
  • Plenty of room to grow as the environment scales

If you are at the stage where you want more exposure to cloud, more responsibility, and a chance to actually influence things, this is a strong next step.
