Senior Data Consultant
£75,000 base plus benefits

London or Edinburgh based
Hybrid working, Monday and Friday from home, office and client site travel required

A growing consulting business is expanding its data capability and hiring experienced data professionals to support increasing demand across financial services and transformation programmes. The team already works with established players in the market and continues to build long term client partnerships. This is a chance to join early and help shape the direction of the data function as it scales.

This role suits someone who wants hands on delivery, client exposure, and the opportunity to take on more ownership as the consultancy grows.

You will work across

  • Database design and SQL based development
  • Data modelling and structured data design
  • Requirements gathering and business analysis work
  • Data testing, validation and table design
  • Client facing delivery and stakeholder engagement
  • Delivery of data models, pipelines and structured client solutions
  • Work across Aladdin environments within financial services programmes

As the team expands, you will gain more ownership across client workstreams and contribute to how delivery approaches are built and improved.

Preferred skills include

  • Strong SQL and database experience
  • Python or similar scripting languages
  • BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Understanding of data modelling approaches
  • Experience in financial services or regulated environments
  • Exposure to Aladdin platforms or similar investment data systems


You bring

  • 3 to 5 years experience in data focused roles
  • Strong communication skills
  • Confidence working across technical and non technical stakeholders
  • Ability to take ownership in client facing environments


Package

  • Up to £75,000 base salary
