About the Role

Our client, a leading security consultancy, is seeking a Senior Penetration Tester to join their growing team. This is a hands-on, client-facing role with a focus on delivering penetration testing services to internal teams and external clients. You will play a key part in maintaining high-quality security assessments while also supporting the team through mentorship and leadership of technical projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct penetration tests and security assessments across client systems, applications, and networks.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external clients, explaining findings and providing clear, actionable recommendations.

  • Translate technical risks into business-friendly insights for clients and stakeholders.

  • Support team development, share knowledge, and provide guidance to mid-level Pen Testers.

  • Assist with project planning, scoping, and resource allocation.

  • Maintain awareness of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security best practices.

Skills & Experience

  • 3–5+ years’ hands-on Pen Testing experience, ideally within a consultancy or client-facing environment.

  • Proven ability to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders confidently.

  • Experience in web, network, cloud, and application security assessments.

  • British Citizen with eligibility for SC Clearance.

  • CTM or CSTM certification preferred, but not essential.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and present findings to clients.
