Senior QA Engineer – Fully Remote
Salary: £50,000 base + bonus
Location: Northwest based with one office visit per month
UK-based candidates only
This is a chance to be the first QA hire in a growing financial SaaS business. If you want ownership and the opportunity to build QA properly from the ground up, this role is worth a look.
You’ll be working in a Manual QA role alongside a senior engineering team who test their own code. Your focus will be on edge cases, system behaviour, and real-world risk with the authority to block releases when needed.
The platform is built on .NET, GraphQL, React, and AWS, with frequent releases and a technical BA validating requirements.
The role includes:
- Owning manual testing end to end
- Functional, exploratory, and regression testing
- API testing (REST / GraphQL)
- SQL-based data validation
- Close collaboration with developers

- Strong exploratory testing skills
- Comfortable being the sole QA and setting processes
- SQL and API testing experience
- Confident, self-sufficient approach
Package:
- £50,000 base + generous bonus
- Fully remote + 1 monthly office visit (Manchester)
