We’re hiring Staff AI/ML Engineers to help build cutting-edge LLM-powered systems and agentic AI workflows for a rapidly growing PE Backed business who have developed an AI-Driven SaaS platform used by 1,000+ global customers.
They’re scaling rapidly, now with 100+ people in tech across London and the US, and recently brought on a Director of AI Engineering to drive innovation in with a brand new squad. This role in particular focuses on building production AI systems that analyse complex documents, extract structured knowledge, and automate high-value workflows using modern LLM infrastructure.
What you’ll be doing:
As their Staff AI/ML Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and delivering advanced AI systems that power intelligent document analysis, knowledge extraction, and AI-driven automation across the platform.
Working closely with product and engineering teams, you’ll help shape the company’s AI architecture, tooling, and best practices while building scalable ML systems deployed in production.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Design and deploy LLM-powered systems for information extraction, document understanding, and knowledge retrieval
- Build agentic AI workflows to orchestrate LLMs, tools, and structured data for complex automation
- Develop and optimize ML pipelines and data workflows for training, evaluation, and deployment
- Leverage AI platforms like AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, and Vertex AI to scale capabilities
- Collaborate with engineers and product teams to integrate AI into the platform
- Mentor engineers and guide AI/ML best practices, architecture, and strategy
What they're looking for in you:
- Strong experience in AI/ML engineering and deploying production ML systems
- Experience with LLMs, agentic AI frameworks, or information extraction pipelines
- Proficiency in Python (Java or Rust a bonus)
- Familiarity with cloud AI platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and MLOps workflows
- Passion for using AI to solve real-world problems
