UX Product Designer
Salary: £60,000-65,000
Location: Manchester – Hybrid
Maxwell Bond have partnered with one of the UK's fastest-growing FinTech businesses, who are investing heavily in their digital customer experience and are looking for a senior hands-on UX Product Designer to join their team.
This is a genuinely exciting time to join the business, with plans to rebuild their website and customer experience from the ground up. You'll be one of the key people shaping the transformation of a rebuild of their website, working closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Partnerships and Data to understand customer needs, design new experiences and validate ideas with real customers.
They're looking for someone who is genuinely AI-fluent, curious about new ways of working and confident enough to challenge the status quo when they see a better approach.
What You'll Do as UX Product Designer:
-
Lead UX across the website rebuild, taking ideas from customer problems and commercial opportunities through to research, journeys, wireframes, prototypes, testing and final experiences.
-
??????Work closely with customers, using user research, behavioural data and testing to validate new designs and make sure decisions are genuinely data and insight led.
-
Help architect the look, feel and experience of the new website from scratch, creating scalable patterns and building out a component library and design system that can support future growth.
-
Use AI as a force multiplier across your day-to-day work, finding faster and smarter ways to research, ideate, prototype and iterate. You'll be encouraged to bring new tools and approaches to the team rather than simply follow existing processes.
What We're Looking For as UX Product Designer:
-
Proven experience working as a UX or Product Designer, ideally within a fast-paced digital, product or commercially focused environment.
-
Strong UX and interaction design fundamentals, with experience working with design systems and component libraries, having exposure designing customer journeys and digital products.
-
A strong understanding of experimentation, CRO and data-led design, with the confidence to challenge ideas and validate assumptions with customers.
-
Genuinely AI-fluent, actively using AI tools within your design process and excited about finding new ways to improve design velocity and quality.
What You'll Get:
-
Salary of £60,000-65,000
-
Hybrid working in Manchester
-
The opportunity to join a brand-new design function and have a genuine influence on how it develops.
-
The chance to rebuild a major customer-facing website from the ground up rather than simply optimise an existing product.
