QA Engineer
Manchester - Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Maxwell Bond have partnered with a growing Retail Distribution company that are looking to hire a QA Engineer to support their current growing team.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring quality across web, API, and integration layers in a complex, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable test suites (UI, API, and integration)
- Incorporate smoke, regression, and contract tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, continuous feedback
- Integrate shift-left quality practices throughout the SDLC
- Validate key journeys (search, pricing, checkout) and data accuracy
- Lead defect analysis, improve QA processes, and support release sign-off
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience as a QA Engineer in WMS and/or ERP environments is desirable
- Strong automation and API testing experience
- Experience working with complex system integrations
- Skilled using Playwright, Cypress, Postman, Newman, REST Assured or similar
- Experience with one or more programming languages used in test automation and frameworks (e.g., TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, C#, Python)
- Experience with Agile environments and CI/CD tools
