Building Momentum
Leah's first major milestone came when she achieved her first-ever placement and hit her first recruitment target, generating a £5,000 fee.
For many recruiters, that first placement is the moment everything clicks—and for Leah, it was the beginning of a rapid rise.
As her confidence grew, so did her results.
She went on to place the first-ever Maxwell Bond US Tech Sales role, delivering a £15,000 fee and demonstrating her ability to operate successfully in international markets.
Soon after, she achieved her first full 360 placement, taking a vacancy brief from a client and securing an accepted offer in just 12 days. The client had been trying to fill the role for three months before engaging with Leah.
Another standout achievement saw her place a founding Customer Success Manager into an AI start-up within just three weeks, helping the business secure a critical hire after the role had remained open for months.
Finding Her Specialism
One of the most important parts of any recruitment career is finding a market where you can truly add value.
For Leah, that became Customer Success and Account Management.
By developing deep market knowledge, building strong candidate networks, and understanding the challenges faced by growing technology businesses, she has established herself as a trusted recruitment partner within the space.
The relationships she has built with clients have also opened doors beyond her immediate specialism. Today, Leah is regularly trusted to work on exclusive projects across multiple functions, including operations and marketing hires, because of the confidence clients have in her ability to deliver.
More Than Recruitment

She became an active member of the Maxwell Bond Charity Committee, helping organise fundraising initiatives and supporting causes that matter to the wider team.

After just one year and one month with the business, Leah was promoted to Senior Recruitment Consultant.
